DiMuto raises US$5.9m in Series A round
The funding round was led by the Yield Lab Asia Pacific.
DiMuto has secured $7.7m (US$5.9m) from its Series A funding round, which closed on Aug. 20.
The round was led by The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, with contributions from SiS Cloud Global Tech Fund 8, Gold Sceptre Ltd., and Dave Chen.
Existing investors, such as SEEDS Capital, SGInnovate, and PT Great Giant Pineapple, also participated in the round, following their investments in DiMuto’s earlier $3.06m (US$2.35m) fundraising in 2021.
DiMuto will use the funding to broaden its Marketplace arm and venture into greenhouse-based agriculture and climate-adaptive varietal development.
This will boost year-round supply and scale the company’s private label, SoLuna Fresh, which has successfully marketed traceable produce from Latin America to Asian markets, especially in tropical and berry categories.
