China Essence Group appoints Yap Kong Wai as CFO

He has over nine years of experience in audit and accounting.

The Board of China Essence Group announced the appointment of Yap Kong Wai as chief financial officer.

Mr Yap, 34, will be responsible for the accounting and financial matters of the Group. He also is responsible for implementing the Groups internal controls and corporate governance practices.

He started his career with KPMG in 2003. Subsequently, he joined Ernst and Young as Audit Manager from 2006 to 2009 prior to joining the Group in 2010 as financial controller, according to a China Essence Group report.
