Check out HSBC’s high-tech flagship branch at Orchard Road
It’s digital hub is a star attraction.
Covering two levels, the 12,000-square-foot HSBC Liat Towers Orchard branch is positioned as HSBC's flagship branch, showcasing the bank's digital banking and wealth management capabilities.
According to Matthew Colebrook, head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC Singapore, the branch was designed to meet the evolving needs and expectations of their customers around the world, whilst providing them access to HSBC's international reach and expertise.
“It features what one would expect of a traditional full-service branch - teller points, an ATM lobby, meeting rooms, and customer lounge areas. What sets the Liat Towers Orchard branch apart is its design and use of technology to deliver a unique customer experience and an environment where customers can spend time discussing their financial needs,” said Matthew.
The team behind this project comprises of seasoned bankers with global experience in various disciplines - customer experience, branch management, digital banking, marketing and risk
management. While the in-house team worked in collaboration with Spacelogic who provided them design consultation and construction services. Resulting with a branch which according to Matthew, embodies their ongoing commitment to provide the very best expertise and service to their existing and prospective customers.
The two-storey branch showcases an ‘enticing’ media display before you even enter the premise.
According to Matthew, while banking trends are leaning towards digitisation, physical bank branches still hold a very critical place in HSBC’s retail banking strategy.
