Institution of Engineers sets up new board to promote faster chartership registration
The board will also promote upskilling for engineering professionals.
The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) has set up a new board to fast-track the registration of engineering professionals at the Chartered Engineering Registry.
The Chartership Engineering Board is a merger of the Chartered Engineers Board and the Chartered Engineering Technologists and Technicians Board.
The new board will boost IES efforts to promote upskilling and career progression of engineering professionals through academic and non-academic pathways.
The Chartered Engineering Registry covers aerospace, built environment, chemical and energy, renewable energy, engineering project management, environment & water, infrastructure, railway and transportation, sustainability and systems.
