Asia Cargo Network Clinches Top Honour in SBR National Business Awards
It received the ‘Cargo Handling’ award for its market expansion project in Indonesia.
Asia Cargo Network (ACN) has been recognised with the coveted ‘Cargo Handling’ award at the prestigious SBR National Business Awards. The esteemed accolade commends ACN's remarkable achievement in their market expansion initiative within Indonesia.
The air cargo industry in Indonesia has witnessed remarkable growth, prompting ACN to adopt a range of strategic measures to fortify its market presence. ACN's Air Cargo Service Market Expansion project in Indonesia aims to bolster its market share through the implementation of several key strategies, including the establishment of a new airline, RGA-Black Stone Airline, the expansion of Asia Cargo Airlines' fleet, and the construction of an aircraft maintenance facility.
These endeavours have yielded impressive results, such as increased revenue, heightened customer satisfaction, and industry-wide recognition. They have also opened doors for future expansion opportunities in other regions and fostered collaborations with local enterprises, thereby ensuring sustained growth in the air cargo industry.
One notable strategy entails a substantial US$10m investment by ACN's subsidiary, ACN Aero Aeroteknik, for the construction of an aircraft maintenance facility at Kertajati International Airport. This state-of-the-art facility will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to airlines, thereby generating an additional revenue stream for ACN.
In addition, ACN Aeroteknik has inked two Head of Agreements with the esteemed local government enterprise Bandaruda Internasional Jawa Barat, forging a path for future collaborative ventures.
Moreover, ACN's introduction of RGA-Black Stone Airlines has proved instrumental in expanding the group's footprint in Indonesia. With an increased fleet size of three aircraft, the newly approved Air Operator Certificate (AOC) has further solidified the airline's position in the region. This move aligns with ACN's overarching strategy to diversify its offerings and cater to the diverse needs of its customers. By expanding its fleet and launching a new airline, ACN aims to provide an array of options to its discerning clientele.
Another significant initiative undertaken by Asia Cargo Network encompasses the expansion of Asia Cargo Airlines' fleet from one to five aircraft. This momentous milestone not only elevates the airline's standing but also augments the air cargo industry in Indonesia as a whole.
The ‘Cargo Handling’ award bestowed upon ACN in the esteemed SBR National Business Awards recognises the exceptional accomplishments of the company. The judging panel took into consideration various achievements of the project, including amplified market share, revenue growth, and enhanced customer satisfaction. ACN's ability to better serve customers has garnered repeat business and fostered a substantial customer base. Furthermore, the expanded fleet capacity allows for increased revenue and market share.
Looking ahead, the ACN Group is dedicated to expanding its presence in other regions while continuing to diversify its offerings. The organisation remains steadfast in its commitment to providing top-quality services to its esteemed clientele.
