Epsilon Telecommunications’ Multi-Cloud Connectivity solutions clinch award in Cloud Services
Epsilon was recognised in the SBR National Business Awards for bringing networking into the cloud era.
Epsilon Telecommunications is bringing innovation to the increasingly competitive cloud market, making it easier and faster for businesses to move data, services, and applications to and between multiple local and global Cloud Service Providers (CSP).
With three solutions tailored to different stages of its customers’ cloud journeys —the Cloud Connect, Cloud Routing, and Cloud Networking solutions, these accelerate and make it simple for customers to use the cloud easily in their businesses.
Early-stage customers can benefit from “Cloud Connect” – the simplest and most economical way to connect to the cloud. Epsilon provides customers with private, high-performance Ethernet connectivity to the clouds of their choice across multiple regions.
For customers who are running production workloads on one or more clouds or are in the adoption stage, they can benefit from “Cloud Routing”. This solution is a managed Layer 3 any-to-any connectivity for businesses to manage clouds, data centres, and branches.
Finally, mature-stage customers can benefit from Epsilon’s “Cloud Networking” which is ideal for customers with one or more clouds and multiple VPC/VNETs that require networking security, data protection, and compliance needs.
Apart from this, Epsilon has partnered with a large ecosystem of CSPs by providing direct and secure on-demand cloud connectivity to top leading global cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
It has also added niche providers to its ecosystem including KT Cloud, KINX IXcloud, NHN Cloud, Naver Cloud and Tencent Cloud, and SaaS providers SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Webex and Zoom. This makes Epsilon one of the few international providers offering multi-cloud connectivity to such a large ecosystem of providers.
Currently, the company is dedicated to developing cloud services that address growing customer needs in new markets, even in challenging markets. South Korea is one of the most digitally advanced countries in the world but is considered difficult for international businesses to enter.
Epsilon built three new points of presence (PoPs) in MokDong IDC 2, KINX Gasan IDC, and KT Hyehwa in the heart of Seoul in November 2022 as an answer, adding to its extensive global reach.
Its customers can now connect on-demand via Infiny, its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform, to South Korea’s digital infrastructure and ecosystems spanning data centres, CSPs, and Internet service providers.
Infiny interconnects over 280 PoPs across Epsilon’s global network, enabling customers to buy and provision direct connectivity to CSPs within minutes.
For these services, Epsilon was given an award in Cloud Services in the recently concluded SBR National Business Awards.
The prestigious annual awards programme launched in 2016 honours local and homegrown companies in Singapore and recognises outstanding projects that greatly contribute to Singapore’s fast-growing economy.
Customers using Epsilon’s cloud services report a range of cost savings due to CSPs consolidation, instant access to pricing, timely decision-making, improved network efficiencies, and minimised downtime.
Epsilon said that it is set to further expand its ecosystems of CSPs and improve customers’ experience in the coming months.
