Automation Anywhere recognised with AI for Business Services Award at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2019
The company is the first in the region to unveil ready-to-deploy digital personnel.
Automation Anywhere, the global leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), was recognised at Singapore Business Review’s first-ever Technology Excellence Awards programme for its recently launched business services innovation—Digital Workers—helping organisations accelerate digital transformation.
The company is the first in the region to unveil ready-to-deploy digital personas that combine task-oriented, cognitive, and analytical abilities to automate repetitive activities. With Digital Workers, organisations can rapidly scale their automation initiatives to drive productivity, efficiency, and growth—liberating human workers to focus on value-added activities and pursue new skills that exercise their creativity and ingenuity.
Automation Anywhere is the world’s most widely deployed platform for enterprise-grade RPA, serving more than 2,800 customer entities that use the company’s intelligent RPA platform and deploying over 1 million bots worldwide, combined.
With digital native companies now automating nearly every aspect of the business, legacy companies are left to compete with new-generation companies. This is prompting them to automate business processes to drive higher levels of productivity and customer service, particularly for a generation of “I-want-it-now” customers.
Automation Anywhere’s Digital Workers aim to level the playing field by working hand-in-hand with their human counterparts, to ultimately increase organisations’ productivity, efficiency, and growth.
Through its Digital Workforce Platform, Automation Anywhere brings humans and bots together, leveraging their unique strengths and skillsets. Unlike task-focused bots, Digital Workers are human-centric and customisable to an organisation’s unique business processes and needs, even taking highly skilled work.
“Today, especially in Singapore, talent is becoming an increasingly finite resource, and this has the potential to cause significant repercussions in terms of productivity and revenue losses. Digital Workers can help extend and enhance human capabilities, taking over mundane, repetitive tasks to free up employees to take on more meaningful work that delivers higher value, and outcomes greater than could be accomplished independently,” said Adrian Jones, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan at Automation Anywhere.
With its growing ecosystem of channel partners, system integrators and developers, Automation Anywhere anticipates that Digital Workers will be deployed by an increasing number of organisations across Singapore over the next year.
Digital Workers are now available for download at the Automation Anywhere Bot Store, the company’s online marketplace for off-the-shelf, plug-and-play bots. Some examples of Digital Workers in the Bot Store now include a Digital Accounts Payable Clerk, Digital Talent Sourcer, and Digital Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
Over the next year, the company, with its growing ecosystem of channel partners, system integrators and developers, expects to see innovation around hundreds of Digital Workers across different business functions and industries.
“Our vision behind Digital Workers has always been to help businesses unlock new levels of innovation. We aim to do so by bringing together the best of human creativity and the power of digital technology through cutting-edge automation and intelligent tools. We are proud to be a recognized provider of business services through RPA, and look forward to working with businesses in Singapore to pave the way for even greater waves of technological advancements and transformation,” said Jones.
