Blu5 View Pte Ltd bags the Designed in Singapore Award for Computer Hardware
The innovative solutions provider developed SEdesk™ to beef up workspace security and protect users against violent cyberattacks.
Singapore Business Review acknowledged trailblazing products that have been established as industry game-changers during the recently concluded Designed in Singapore Awards.
On its third year of recognising exceptional products manufactured and conceptualised in the Lion City, this year’s awards programme lauded companies who brought honour to Singaporean innovation and craftsmanship.
Blu5 View Pte Ltd bagged the Designed in Singapore Award in the computer hardware category.
With enterprises worldwide turning to cloud when it comes to their business infrastructures, Blu5 View’s innovative SEdesk™ safeguards enterprises against the cesspool of attacks they might face on public internet with various types of hacking tools or extraction devices.
SEdesk™ veers away from traditional technologies that were never naturally designed to face cyberthreats by incorporating security-specific scalable hardware and software armouring elements. It was built to overcome a collection of unaddressed key pain points faced by VPN, VDI, DaaS, SDP and EDRM, amongst others.
This is especially important, since various experts have predicted that security protections provided by traditional solutions will be easily broken. SEdesk™ saves enterprises from this potential encounter by providing agile handling and flexible security performance that is validated by the academia and national research centres.
Besides enhancing security, SEdesk™ standard specification also consists of a suite of business analytics tools, which are essential in improving the productivity of business operations.
The suite also hands back accessibility and visibility control to concerned stakeholders. This means that they are able to run analysis on understanding users’ or user groups’ behaviours, access duration, users’ location and frequently used services, amongst others. Information garnered from these analysis can be gathered and represented in various graphical forms to provide supplementary information in management reports.
With SEdesk™, CTO, CISO, CIO and critical stakeholders can put more attention on the operational control, business management and growth aspects of the organisation. This is due to the product’s less-is-more design, which also provides frictionless integration and migration from traditional but complex security technologies embedded in existing infrastructure.
SEdesk™ also boasts a simple and straightforward desktop experience over any Windows OS or Mac OS machines as enterprise applications can be accessed anywhere and anytime with just one click.
Users, devices and services are verified through multifactor mechanisms, and whitelisted applications are isolated in a controlled perimeter. An impenetrable access control is also granted to particular applications by user’s role and advanced access policies like geo-fencing and time zones. Because of these, users can have simultaneous connections and concurrent use of services made available from one to multiple cloud or on-premise locations.
Additionally, users can also enjoy SEdesk™ crypto-agile feature, which guarantees that technology can be intricately tuned to face the emergence of quantum computing.
SEdesk™ holistic security concept has been used by various enterprises, including those in the government sector and the cybersecurity industry.
“Being in the cybersecurity industry, some of our customers were looking for an added secured access to our dashboard. We are glad to integrate SEdesk™ into our product offering to give better protection for our customers. The solution is easy to use (plug & click) and convenient.” said ReaQta CEO Alberto Pelliccione in a testimony.
Blu5 takes pride in creating innovative approaches to open platforms and ICT security, with a focus on the design and development of hardware-software platforms for ICT system developers and integrators in various industries such as automotive, biomedical, fintech, and information security and telecommunications. Blu5’s solutions lead to cost-effective, smooth and timely system integration and final product development.
