LinkZZapp Group captures Digital - Real Estate prize at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2019

The LinkZZapp software platform simplifies interactions between developers, property management, and respective homebuyers.

LinkZZapp Group received the Digital - Real Estate trophy at the recently concluded Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, thanks to its 360° e-property platform solution.

The inaugural awards event honours enterprises that take risks and lead the charge in developing groundbreaking projects, digital services, reimagined strategies, and technological initiatives.

LinkZZapp is the brainchild of William Wong, the company’s chief executive, who found a way to solve problems experienced by property developers and managers with regard to tedious and chaotic manual processes.

He used his previous experience in technological and software-driven enterprises to lead the development of flexible and cost-effective solutions that simplify manual processes based on three fundamental pillars: security, community, and lifestyle.

The company’s first minimum viable product was launched in March 2018, which enabled LinkZZapp to receive its first purchase order in the second quarter of the same year.

LinkZZapp’s digital solution facilitates traditionally time-consuming processes, such as booking for house-viewing sessions or building facilities, key collection appointments, defect submissions, visitor registrations, maintenance fees, and bills payment.

Through LinkZZapp’s digital solutions, property purchasing, construction, vacant possession, defect management, and other tasks are performed in a less-complicated manner that also enables fast feedback from property developers, building management, and the community.

Some key features of the application are the following:

  • Progress monitor, which enables property developers to send updates and progressive payment statuses to homebuyers and update home buyers with property construction progress
  • LinkZZapp’s i-Hub, which provides a platform for property developers to showcase past, current, or future projects with rich details and information needed by potential customers
  • Vacant Possession Management, which helps property developers to seamlessly assign a handler to a specific appointment for each home buyer, thereby reducing working time and using resources efficiently
  • Defect management to immediately receive reports submitted by home buyer, assign contractors, and update homebuyers on the defect management progress on the same platform
  • Panic alert to ensure that safety is always a priority, especially during emergencies (i.e., the app shows the user’s location to group members to reduce response time)
  • Intercom function, which provides a one-way video call feature between the user and guardhouse
  • Visitor Management System, which provides a seamless experience and enhances homeowners’ safety
  • Facility booking, which allows remote booking and facilitates building management and tracking of fee payments
  • Bills payment that is integrated with a major e-wallet service provider so that building management can send maintenance invoices to homeowners and the homeowner could pay immediately through the app
  • General feedback, in which homeowners can include descriptions and photos showing their concerns, thereby improving response efficiency
  • One of the company’s clients is The Republic by ELICA, which implemented LinkZZapp as its building management system. Through this application, The Republic was able to solve their visitor management flow and customise the integration of their installed system.

With LinkZZapp, homeowners can now pre-register their visitors through the communal app, allowing access to lifts and entrance doors in a convenient and secure manner.

LinkZZapp represents a major contribution to the value chain in the property sector because its application saves cost and time for businesses and consumers by digitising the processes of communication, sales, management, tracking, and operations.
