Overdrive wins IOT award for transportation at SBR Technology Excellence Awards
Overdrive IOT Pte Ltd received the IoT Award for its digital transport tracking platform.
Overdrive has always been dedicated to developing a suite of holistic IoT solutions for all organisations. From monitoring a fleet of vehicles, assets, people to supplying end-to-end transportation solutions to the masses and providing them with real time geolocation information, the enterprise drives IoT technology towards the succeeding frontier of the future.
Its Ridership Management System is one of the company’s ingenious platforms whose goal is to enhance and digitalise Singapore’s transportation sector. With the innovative solution, employees can enjoy day-to-day commuting experience through overall visibility of the country’s bus drivers, commute routes and operations.
Overseeing workers’ travels to and from work can be cumbersome and laborious for organisations, especially when business managers are overloaded with employees transportation requests, while handling multiple bus operators and drivers.
The Ridership Management System addresses these issues and focuses on helping companies to monitor their vehicles, ensure safety of employees, plan destination routes for drivers, and make supervisors’ jobs simpler with real-time transportation monitoring.
Overdrive has come a long way in the IoT world. Their architectural openness and ability to tweak device-level firmware and connectivity to any challenging environment has made their platform highly robust and scalable. Young and driven, they have built powerful and dynamic systems that allows businesses to build an interconnected data-sensing environment on the go. What started off with managing vehicles went beyond tracking and provided a fully integrated cloud platform and a complete range of IoT solutions. Providing three core products that work seamlessly with one another- OverWheels, OverPax and OverGuard.
OverWheels is the brainchild of the company, giving the full fledged fleet management system designed to make day to day tasks convenient. OverPax takes care of people, giving the ability to know where everyone has to go with less time consumed and with the recent events, making sure people observe social distancing measures. With OverGuard, it’s a real time tracking for all facilities, providing precise visibility of staff, inventory, facilities, assets and buildings.
Overdrive’s solutions equipped everyone with the ability to monitor and connect not just vehicles but almost anything and everything into a mesh network. Driven by their desire to promote safety, security and efficiency, Overdrive’s range of innovative solutions have optimised businesses, enhanced people’s lives and empowered valued partners.
