Quincus CEO Jonathan Savoir Named Executive of the Year for Logistics
The technology logistics CEO and his team has spent half a decade building a powerful supply chain platform for the region’s top companies.
Quincus—which established its headquarters in Singapore last year—has achieved success with its supply chain management solutions. These solutions have helped big-name logistics clients to reduce per-delivery costs by more than 20% for ground and port shipments via end-to-end optimisation.
These successes have won Quincus CEO Jonathan Savoir the accolade Executive of the Year for Logistics at the recently concluded SBR Management Excellence Awards.
With Jonathan at the helm, Quincus has developed a powerful supply chain platform for top logistics companies across the Asia Pacific. The executive’s strong leadership and customer-focused mindset pushed the team to roll out a robust array of solutions for ground, air and port shipments, and land contracts with multiple large enterprise customers.
Quincus is primed to sustain its rapid growth after doubling its deployment team and attracting fundraising interest from major strategic partners after delivering impressive results to big-name clients. The company plans to triple its existing team within the next six months.
With Quincus Ground solutions, one of the world's biggest express providers was able to increase its deliveries by 21% and decrease vehicles on the road by 15%, effectively reducing per-delivery costs by 27%.
This was attained through Quincus’ revolutionary GeoEngine, which accurately verifies, corrects, and completes all order addresses. The Quincus solution then starts computing for the optimal route, taking into account more than 50 other constraints in a matter of seconds. The best routes possible are then automatically sent to drivers, sorting systems, or loaders resulting in higher accuracy of verified addresses, improved time and distance utilisation, and lower fuel consumption.
"Quincus has been able to achieve an astonishing amount of allocation of visibility and traceability, as well as optimisation across our supply chains,” said one client. “The team deployed to train the local teams to be more efficient in a very complex process.”
Jonathan led the company in designing a platform that is robust, intuitive, and personalised for different platform users. Quincus transportation technology assists with allocating optimised gate and arrival times to avoid port congestion, improving turnaround times, and automating gate control processes.
Similar to the Quincus Ground solution, the Quincus Air solution enables orders to be fulfilled automatically and sent to the system in real time via API or platform. The Quincus LogisticsEngine then maps out a comprehensive route that accurately predicts, models, and allocates deliveries across the customer’s entire flight network. Cargo flight allocation is also optimised, with provisions for real-time demand along with loading and unloading management.
Jonathan said the platform allows for easier delivery tracking at all stages, providing complete visibility of the most important details, including allocation and location. He added that the company is looking to further expand into consolidated logistics players, shipping, and airfreight. This improves and clarifies the job matching process between deliveries and qualified drivers. A unified platform also paves the way for relevant data and smart contracts to be interchanged in real time, unlocking powerful insights and resulting in quicker transactions for clients.
