Sansan Global clinches Cloud - Startup Award at SBR's Technology Excellence Awards
The group’s namesake B2B product, Sansan, helps companies visualise their business networks and manage business contacts through cloud centralisation.
Combining solutions to address contact management and drive collaboration for improved sales productivity and effectiveness, Sansan Global Pte Ltd introduced Sansan, a contact management solution that clusters enterprises’ contact networks and allows for its employees to identify existing connections to drive business.
In the recently concluded Technology Excellence Awards, Singapore Business Review awarded Sansan Global with the Excellence in Cloud Award in the Startup category.
While contact management via cloud centralisation is straightforward, what sets Sansan apart from other solutions is its ability to use both physical and virtual business cards as building blocks for networking, and ensure 99.9% accurate first-party data.
The platform’s users can share and view connections within the organisation, unearthing opportunities within the business, and strategically join forces with other teams when it comes to closing deals.
Sansan Global opened its Singapore office 2 years ago and has been gaining business momentum as its regional foothold strengthens. Early this year, Sansan released the results of a survey among 400 business professionals in Singapore that revealed that only 18 percent of employees were sharing contacts within the enterprise. Interestingly, those who did so garnered more than twice the amount of business referrals compared to the respondents who did not.
It is important for companies to first look inwards as they build their business, said Sansan. The company devoted its efforts to enable businesses in the region by helping them leverage their existing contacts as prospects to generate new deals.
Targeting corporation-wide contact management, Sansan enables businesses to construct a complete virtual contact database that can be accessed anywhere at any time. The platform also allows easy scanning of physical business cards, which are automatically digitised and manually screened to guarantee both speed and precision. Most recently Sansan also released its Virtual Cards function, which enables easy exchange of digital business cards to support remote workstyles.
Through Sansan, companies can generate new deals thanks to warm referrals that stem from established connections with other co-workers. Its extensive API support also enables contact information sharing to third-party solutions such as CRMs and email management services.
Sansan can envisage future business connections and helps uncover sales opportunities within the company. Thereby, it optimises business efficiencies owing to stronger teamwork and significantly improves staff productivity.
These efforts support Singapore’s Smart Nation master plan that is encouraging organisations to optimise their operations through digital technologies, prompting them to undergo digital transformation.
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, as businesses race to go digital, the need for them to drive collaboration and productivity has become even more enhanced, and Sansan is working closely with its customers to fill these gaps.
With its robust features, Sansan frees up time for staff to focus on higher-value tasks by streamlining work processes, closing collaboration gaps, and empowering professionals to be more dynamic, even while working remotely.
This enables employees to maximize their productivity and provides organisations with capabilities to mine their present network while constantly exploring external business opportunities.
The Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review, was held via video conferencing throughout the first and third week of June.
This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Daryl Pereira, Head of Cyber at KPMG; Cheang Wai Keat, Head of Advisory Services in Singapore and ASEAN Technology Consulting Leader at Ernst & Young; Chin Chee Choon, Advisory Leader and Assurance Director at Nexia TS; Rizwi Wun, Partner, Acting Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group at RHTLaw Asia; Carolyn Chin-Parry, Managing Director and Digital Accelerator Leader at PwC.
