SAP expert leads all-star webinar on supply chain excellence

Sreekumar Sivaramakrishnnn will be a key part of today’s webinar, kicking off at 11:00am.

Forces are in play, “turbulent times,” they say, as economies and industries adapt and get a sense of how business will be conducted to cope and thrive in this new normal situation. As health concerns disrupt the physical exchange of goods, e-commerce is booming, companies are digitalising, and warehouse robots and delivery drones controlled with user friendly apps are becoming a reality. Now all eyes are on what makes a modern supply chain, and at what cost?
In partnership with Singapore Business Review, SAP is hosting a 60-minute webinar From Turbulence to Triumph: A Look at the Modern Supply Chain to explore and tackle the latest trends and technology innovations in the cargo, travel and logistics industry together with executives, thought speakers, and industry leaders who run the global supply chain.
Chief among these speakers is Sreekumar Sivaramakrishnan, who will speak on the continuing digitisation efforts of supply chain leaders acoss the Asia Pacific region. He will also explain some of the practicable solutions that businesses can utilise in the“new normal” of Post-Covid operating environments.
We caught up with Sivaramakrishnan ahead of today’s webinar.

What factors are involved with modernising supply chains in this new era of digitalisation and business disruption?
In today’s era of digitalization and business disruption, every customer is looking for customer centric processes, personalized products and services, door stop deliveries eventually moving into a “Touchless” supply chain.
Every organization needs to fundamentally reimagine its business processes across supply chain by embracing the “Predict, Automate and Analyze” strategy to stay ahead in the game.

How have these further changed / evolved with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic?
The current pandemic has accelerated the need to think out of the box. Each and every business interaction between the organization and end customer has become touchless without comprising the customer experience factor. The smarter the organization predicts what customer wants, automates the interaction and ensure timely and doorstep delivery of the demand in a safe environment only will emerge successful and stay afloat in the highly customer centric environment of today and immediate future.

Can you give us a glimpse of your presentation at the From Turbulence to Triumph webinar next week?
I will explain how digitalisation is set to drive the supply chains and economies over the coming years, and share some of the practicable solutions that businesses can utilise in this “new normal”.
