Stephen Thompson

Stephen manages Poten’s Asia-Pacific LNG consulting practice, which provides strategic and commercial advice to LNG ventures and buyers. Formerly, as Exploration & Production Manager for Chevron in Colombia, Stephen was responsible for a business supplying 90% of Colombia’s natural gas needs. Before, as Fiscal and Planning Manager for Texaco in Angola, he was part of a team that doubled oil output. Stephen holds Masters degrees in Law & Diplomacy and International Business, and a BA in International Economics.
