He currently has several HR tech projects, including a successful boutique recruitment business – TBC HR Consulting which is based in Singapore. He is also the Managing Director of Strategia Ventures. Ben is also involved in many community initiatives in the local startup ecosystem, including Startup Jobs Asia.

Ben Lim is the co-CEO of SHADO Group. He started his career as a research scientist with IBM RESEARCH (Canada) and then as Senior Manager for Accenture (previously known as Andersen Consulting) before joining Standard Chartered Bank as their Group Information Systems’ Head for Corporate & Institutional Banking in Singapore.
Returning to his technology background, in 2014 he co-founded SHADO INTERNATIONAL GROUP to specialise in advanced Electric Vehicle engineering and technologies.
Ben has served as Industry Advisor to the National University of Singapore’s School of Computing for over 13 years. With a strong depth and breadth of knowledge in software, electronics and working experiences in large corporations before managing start-up operations especially in logistics and taxi fleet in emerging countries, Ben brings a wealth of experience to the management team of SHADO.
