Joon Aun Ooi
Joon Aun was appointed President and Managing Director for South East Asia and Pacific Rim for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in April 2018. He joined Wyndham in 2013 as Vice President, Openings and Operations for Wyndham Hotel Group Greater China where he successfully introduced four new brands to the market and played a pivotal role in growing the combined franchise and management portfolio to over 1,400 hotels.
Before joining the hospitality industry in 2002, Mr Ooi spent more than 7 years at The Boston Consulting Group where he was a Principal. He made his first foray into the hospitality industry as Vice President Strategy at InterContinental Hotels Group before moving to China in 2005 to take on the role of Vice President, Hotel Openings (Greater China). In 2009, he was appointed Vice President Strategy and Hotel Openings (Asia Pacific) at Hilton Worldwide where he oversaw the successful growth of the Hilton portfolio in China.
Joon Aun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.

Jörg Dietzel is running a regional branding group and teaches at the business at the business schools of both NUS and SMU. He is based in Singapore.
Joris Angevaare

Joshua Yim
Joshua Yim is the founder and CEO of Achieve Group, an HR consultancy providing human capital solutions for national conglomerates and MNCs in the Asia Pacific region since 1990. The veteran HR professional has received several business awards over his career, including the Spirit of Enterprise Awards 2011, the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2010 (APEA), and the Entrepreneur of The Year Award 2009.
His company, headquartered in Singapore with an office in Malaysia, has also garnered a number of prestigious awards including the 2011 Singapore Enterprise 50 Award, ASEAN Business Award in 2011 and 2010, and Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2010.
A prominent figure in Singapore’s HR community, Joshua is often invited as a speaker for HR and business events. He has appeared in interviews on national TV, radio, magazines and newspapers, and also actively contributes his industry insights to the various media both local and internationally.
Jovin Hurry
Jovin Hurry has spent the last 15 years studying, living and working in Asia and Europe, as a student, an analyst and a facilitator in the field of sustainability, business and learning and development. He is enthusiastic at probing entrepreneurs, in life-size simulations, at how they negotiate around core sustainability issues, in their world of turbulent markets, limited resources, social disparities and structural faults. He is curious about the world he lives in.
