Malaysia's 2012 GDP hit 5.6%

It's a little above forecast.

According to OCBC Daily Treasury Outlook, Malaysia’s GDP growth came in robust at 6.4% yoy in Q4 2012, leading to full-year growth at 5.6% yoy – both well above our estimates of 5.0% and 5.1% yoy respectively. Meanwhile, inflation inched up a bit to 1.3% yoy in January, from 1.2% yoy previously.
