Refreshed Singpass reflects improved services
It has released a new logo.
The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) has announced the refreshed Singpass brand identity with a new logo, marking its evolution to become Singapore’s trusted national digital identity.
The new Singpass logo features a logomark ‘i’ that represents both a human silhouette and keyhole, reflecting the government’s “twin focus to provide citizen-centric digital services while ensuring security and trust in our national digital identity platform.”
Since its inception in 2018, more than 10 features have been added to Singpass. These features include digital IC, face verification, and digital signing.
Singpass currently powers over 1,400 services offered by around 340 public and private sector organisations. Its user base has also grown significantly with over four million residents and its app has been one of the most downloaded in Singapore in the previous year.
GovTech senior director Kwok Quek Sin said the new brand offers a glimpse into the possibilities and future of Singapore, enabled by the trusted national digital identity.
“With this brand refresh, we want to ensure that Singpass continues to deliver value, whilst developing digital capabilities necessary for the growth of a trusted digital ecosystem,” Kwok said.
