
All services sectors posted growth in 4Q11 except one
The education services industry registered a decline of 5.5% in business receipts.
According to the Department of Statistics:

Compared to the same quarter of 2010, all services industries fared well except education services, registering positive growth ranging from 2.1% (financial & insurance services) to 9.1% (health & social services).
The education services industry, in contrast, registered a decline of 5.5% in business receipts during the quarter.
Quarter-on-Quarter change
Business receipts of the services sector, excluding wholesale & retail trade and accommodation & food services, rose 2% in fourth quarter 2011 over the previous quarter.
Higher business receipts were reported in information and communications services (7.2%), transport & storage services (6%), business services excluding real estate, rental & leasing services (5.9%), health and social services (5.8%), recreation & personal services (1.4%) and real estate, rental & leasing services (0.9%).
On the other hand, turnover of the education services industry decreased 17%, while business receipts from financial & insurance services dropped 1.8%.
