Budget 2016 to be unveiled on March 24, says MOF
The Budget Statement will be later than usual.
Singapore’s FY2016 Budget Statement will be delivered on Thursday, March 24, according to the Ministry of Finance.
The FY16 Budget will be delivered a month later than the Jubilee Budget. In September 2015, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had indicated that the FY16 Budget Statement would be held later than usual.
The Budget will be delivered by Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat. There will be live television and radio coverage of the Budget Statement. A live webcast of the delivery of the Budget Statement will be available as well on MOF’s Singapore Budget website.
MOF will be launching other useful platforms for the public to access information on the Budget, including a mobile app, a subscription service, plus feedback channels.
