Member states of the Group of Seven will move to create an infrastructure plan that will challenge China’s massive Belt and Road initiative. The agreement was made during the three-day G-7 Summit in southwest England.
It was reported that the infrastructure plan is not aimed at stopping the Belt and Road initiative, rather it is intended to provide an alternative offer.

Gojek drivers in Singapore will be entitled to a reduced service fees from 21 June until 2022. Starting 21 June, the service fees imposed on drivers will be reduced to 10% from the current 20%.
Meanwhile, service fees on Gojek taxi drivers will be waived until 8 August 2021.

Leaders of the Group of Seven (G-7) wealthy nations have demanded that an investigation be conducted on the origin of the COVID-19, including China’s role.
The investigation, as called by the G-7, will be “expert-led and science-based.” It will also be convened by the World Health Organization.
