DPM Wong to visit the US to strengthen bilateral relationships
DPM Wong will visit Arizona, New York, and Washington D.C.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will make a working visit to the United States from 5 to 15 October 2023. DPM Wong will visit Arizona, New York, and Washington D.C. The visit will build on the multi-faceted relationship between Singapore and the United States.
In Arizona, DPM Wong will visit Peace Carvin II, the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) F-16 fighter training detachment at Luke Air Force Base.
In New York City, he will attend the GIC Investment Forum and launch a new Global Innovation Alliance node in New York City led by Enterprise Singapore.
In Washington D.C., he will meet Cabinet Secretaries and senior officials from the Biden Administration to discuss ways to further bilateral cooperation in new emerging areas.
DPM Wong will also deliver opening remarks at the inaugural US-Singapore Dialogue on Critical and Emerging Technologies, and participate in a dialogue at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
