
IPOs on SGX Catalist raised record funds of $253.8m in 2014
Combined market cap pegged at $1.8b.
The IPO scene in Singapore continues to thrive with 11 IPOs and two RTOs on SGX's Catalist Board, to date.
Yesterday’s listing of Versalink Holdings takes the total amount of funds raised on Catalist in 2014 to $253.8m, which is higher than the total of $253.3m in the 2013 calendar year.
According to SGX, these 11 IPOs have a combined market capitalisation of $1.8b. They generated an average total return of 22.2% as of yesterday. Amongst the 11 Catalist IPOs in 2014, the three largest capitalised stocks are TalkMed Group, QT Vascular and Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Holdings.

In the full year of 2013, there were 12 IPOs on the Catalist Board and one Reverse Takeover (RTO). In the 2014 year thus far have been 11 new listings on Catalist and two RTOs by KPO and Pteris Global.
Wednesday’s listing of Versalink Holdings takes the total amount of funds raised on Catalist in 2014 to $253.8m, which is higher than the total $253.3 million in the 2013 calendar year. This means that 2014 will be a record year for fund raising on Catalist since the board was launched.
