
King of Malaysia to visit SG on state tour from May 6-7
He will be observing Parliamentary proceedings during his visit.
King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim will visit Singapore from 6 May to 7 May, marking his first overseas state visit since his coronation on 31 January.
Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Queen of Malaysia, Malaysian Minister of Transport Anthony Loke, and senior officials will accompany Sultan Ibrahim.
President Tharman and his wife will host a State banquet, whilst Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will separately host meals for the royals.
The King will tour the Parliament Chambers to observe Parliamentary proceedings and will also visit Thomson – East Coast line with Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat.
