
Non-oil domestic exports dropped 4.9% YoY in November
Electronic NODX decreased by 3.8% YoY, whilst non-electronic NODX declined by 5.2% YoY.
Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) has declined by 4.9% YoY in November 2020 mainly due to non-electronic products, according to Enterprise Singapore.
On a MoM seasonally adjusted (SA) basis, NODX rose by 3.8% in November. On an SA basis, the level of NODX reached $13.6b.
Electronic NODX decreased by 3.8% YoY, whilst non-electronic NODX declined by 5.2% YoY.
Meanwhile, on an SA basis non-oil retained imports of intermediate goods increased to $5.8b in November.
The total trade for November 2020 also declined by 8.7% YoY, following the 9% decrease in the preceding month.
Total exports decreased by 8.0%, whilst total imports declined by 9.4% over the same period.
