Over 40 companies joined SBF's IHCI Enabler Programme

Twelve industry sectors were covered in the eight-week training programme.

Forty-six companies benefited from the Singapore Business Federation’s IHCI Enabler Programme, which aims to equip companies with people management and job redesign skills required for successful Industry 4.0 transformation.

The training programme, which started in March and whose second cohort just ended this September, offers a mix of both experiential learning and actual trials of solutions on companies' shopfloor as part of a four-step journey.

Twelve industry sectors, including manufacturing, were covered. Companies from the oil and gas, urban design, electronics, and precision engineering sectors were heavily represented

Companies that attended identified up to 200% productivity gains through Industry 4.0 solutions trialled and implemented.

A total of 1,168 jobs were redesigned for roles impacted by digital solutions, to give businesses other options to avoid layoffs and leverage the potential of the Industry 4.0.
