
Singapore consumer confidence hits 8-month high in March
Singaporeans are more upbeat about personal finances.
The ANZ Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence Index picked up in March after declining in February, with more respondents upbeat about the state of their personal finances.
The index climbed 3.8 points in March to 124.5, the highest in eight months.
More respondents were upbeat on the current state of their personal finances, with 31.1% saying that they are better off compared to just 26.8% in February.
Respondents were also more positive on their financial outlook for the next year. A robust 32.7% expect to have better finances for the year ahead, compared to just 29.1% in February.
