Singapore parking is cheapest

But only among global financial hubs, with Singapore’s monthly parking rates at US$192.89.

Colliers International on Thursday announced the results of a survey on global parking rates which concludes that the world’s financial centres have the most expensive parking rates to date, according to a Colliers report.

Despite being ranked last, Singapore’s monthly parking rates are still high at US$192.89 while daily rate is at US$21.53.

London’s The City and West End record the most expensive places to park with the former at US$933 per month and the latter at US$874 per month.

Hong Kong ranked second in the world, and topped Asian financial centres at $745 per month.

Abu Dhabi is the world's most expensive place to park in a day at US$55.

The cheapest city to park is Chennai, India at US$0.96 a day.

The Colliers’ third annual global parking rate Survey only includes covered or under survey now tracks 145 central business ground parking garages located in prime districts from all corners of the globe, the report said. The data was collected during the month of June.
