Updated MOU strengthens SG-Malaysia pharmaceutical ties

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and Malaysia's Ministry of Health renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on pharmaceutical products and cosmetics cooperation on 6 May.
This agreement, originally signed in 2012, strengthens collaboration in post-market vigilance, enforcement, and clinical trial standards.

Both regulatory bodies, HSA and Malaysia's National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), ensure the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics within their nations.
Dr. Choong May Ling, CEO of HSA, and Ms. Norhaliza A. Halim, Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Services at Malaysia's Ministry of Health, signed the MOU at HSA's Outram building in Singapore.
