
MAS appoints Sundaresh Menon to its Board of Directors
Menon was the Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann prior to his appointment.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced that Mr Sundaresh Menon, Attorney-General of Singapore, has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr Menon’s term of appointment will be from 1 November 2010 to 31 December 2012, according to a MAS report.
Mr Menon was called to the Singapore Bar in 1987 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2008. He served as a Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court from April 2006 to March 2007. Prior to his appointment as the Attorney-General on 1 October 2010, Mr Menon was the Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann.
