Renewable energy producer Axpo to open new branch in Singapore
Industry expert Sophie Ducoloner will head the new branch.
Renewable energy producer Axpo will open a branch in Singapore before the end of the year.
In a press release, Axpo announced that the new branch will be headed by Sophie Ducoloner who will be the managing director of Axpo Singapore starting 1 December.
According to Axpo’s head of trading and sales Domenico De Luca, this expansion will strengthen Axpo’s presence in Asia as forecast says the market will soon experience a boom in demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports.
“The Asian markets are set to grow in LNG in the coming years as clients aim to reduce their carbon footprint and move towards cleaner energy resources and away from coal,” he added.
Axpo is Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy with over 30 branches all over the world.
