
Technics' subsidiary clinches S$25.6m contract
Norr Systems Pte Ltd, a 51% owned subsidiary of the compression systems provider, will construct two turnkeys and service two vessels for the next seven years.
In a statement, Technics said that Norr Systems’ job scope includes design, engineering, procurement and manufacturing and supply of ship automation (Hydraulic and Electrical equipment) and the first vessel is scheduled for completion in 2011.
The subsidiary will also supply equipment including main engines and all auxiliary equipments onboard vessel as well as provision of project management on site to deliver quality vessels to the owner.
Furthermore, Norr Systems shall provide service contract for maintenance and servicing of the entire two vessels for the subsequent 7 years after completion of the turnkey contract.

The abovementioned contract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s financial performance in FY2011.
