EMA awards grants to 3 local energy startups
The startups that received the grant were Power Facade, Ampotech, and EtaVolt.
The Energy Market Authority (EMA) awarded grants to three local energy startups to support their solutions that will promote and improve the clean energy sector.
In a statement, the EMA the startups that secured the grants were Power Facade, Ampotech, and EtaVolt.
They received the grant due to their projects that aim “to accelerate the adoption of Building Applied Photovoltaics, enable more buildings to adopt air-conditioning optimisation technologies, as well as maximise solar photovoltaic performance and ensure efficient recycling of solar panels,” EMA said.

The grant was supported by EnterpriseSG under its Open Innovation programme encouraging small and medium enterprises and startups to work with industry players for solutions development.
It is also backed by Shell and Envision Digital.
