Maritime and Port Authority in hunt for new LNG bunker supplier
Up to two LNG bunker supplier licenses will be issued by Singapore’s marine industry regulator.
The Maritime and Port Authority is issuing a request for proposal for parties seeking to supply liquefied natural gas or LNG bunkers in the Port of Singapore, a follow up from a recent announcement at the 21st Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition.
Two additional LNG bunker supplier licences will be issued to support growing demand for LNG bunkers in the Port of Singapore.
The proposal must contain an end-to-end LNG bunkering solution, which should include details about its LNG supply and delivery model, its LNG sources and its marketing plan for the sale of LNG bunkers.
Interested parties may get their request for proposal document by sending an email to LNG_bunkering_RFP@mpa.gov.sg. Deadline for submission is on 15 December.
MPA seeks to award the successful LNG bunker supplier license by February 2021.
