Sembcorp acquires 30% stake in Senoko Energy

The acquisition is subject to approval.

Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Utilities, acquired a 30% stake in Senoko Energy.

It acquired the stake from TWMB Holdings B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENGIE Global Developments B.V. (ENGIE).

The acquisition is subject to approvals from the Energy Market Authority of Singapore and the preemption rights of the other shareholders of Senoko Energy.

Sembcorp will fund the acquisition through internal cash resources and/or external borrowings.
