Sembcorp appoints two new directors to the board
Manu Bhaskaran joined the team on Monday while Uwe Krueger will start on 1 October.
Sembcorp Industries Ltd has appointed two new non-executive directors to its Board, a partner at the Centennial Group and an executive of Temasek International.
Sembcorp has appointed Manu Bhaskaran as a non-executive and independent director effective Monday, 1 July, the firm announced late last week.
Bhaskaran is a partner of the Centennial Group and the founding CEO of its Singapore
subsidiary, Centennial Asia Advisors.
Prior to Centennial, Bhaskaran held senior positions at Société Générale’s Asian investment
banking division and was a member of its executive committee.
He also brings with him 40 years of experience in studying economic, political and security issues as a lead Asian economist.
Sembcorp also assigned Uwe Krueger the non-executive and non-independent director role in its board effective 1 October.
Krueger is currently the vice chairman for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) of Temasek International. He joined Temasek International in 2018 leading the industrials, business services, energy and resources division, while serving as the head of EMEA.
