
Sembcorp Industries expects ‘materially higher’ financial results in 1H22
Its conventional energy segment drove better results for the company.
Following the review of its unaudited consolidated financial results, Sembcorp Industries said its shareholders can expect a “materially higher” 1H22 versus 1H21.
In a bourse filing, the company attributed its higher than expected 1H22 performance to its conventional energy segment.
“Electricity prices in Singapore and India continued to remain high in 1H2022,” said the company.

Whilst waiting for the financial results to be announced on 5 August, Sembcorp advised its shareholders and investors to “exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the company.”
