SIEW 2022 to focus on low carbon solutions, renewable energy solutions
The 15th SIEW will be from 25 to 28 October 2022.
Amidst the global community’s push for a greener future, the 15th Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) will discuss how governments and industries will coordinate on promoting low carbon solutions and the development of renewable energy solutions, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) said.
The SIEW, which will be held from 25 to 28 October this year, will underscore governments and industries when it comes to capitalising on regional grid development and global supply chains for hydrogen and carbon capture, utilisation, and storage.
It will address how to create an enabling environment to improve innovation, research and development, and global collaboration in energy shift. Financiers' and investors’ roles in scaling up investments for a green economy will also be talked about at the event.
To commemorate this milestone, SIEW is also launching a new podcast series, “SIEWCast,” which will feature energy thought leaders sharing their views on the energy transition through to 2050 and their strategic insights into our energy future.
