Will partnerships save battered Ezion from the industry maelstrom?

Talks for tie-ups are ongoing.

The offshore services firm has been tossed by industry waves during the last quarters, and its struggles have been aggravated by non-operational units. What’s even worse, Ezion is going through the whole struggles alone.

According to analysts from UOB Kay Hian, that’s about to change, as Ezion is currently in talks with industry players to help the company weather the industry malaise.

“Ezion highlighted it was in discussions with two industry players to diversify out of the sector. Without citing additional details, management said a tie-up is expected to help mitigate the negative impact of the downturn,” UOB Kay Hian said.

Meanwhile, though no firm timeline has been provided yet, UOB Kay Hian says announcement of partnerships may be revealed within the coming weeks.
