Beng Kuang Marine appoints Cheong Hock Wee as Director

He is currently Chief Operating Officer of the DDW-PaxOcean Asia Group.

The Board of Beng Kuang Marine announced the appointment of Cheong Hock Wee as Director.

Mr Cheong, 54, is also a Member of Audit, Nominating and Remuneration Committees, according to a Beng Kuang Marine report.

From 2010 to 2012, he provided consultancy services on marine vessels and shipyard developments on a free-lance basis. From 2007 to 2010, he was General Manager of Singapore Star Shipping Pte Ltd. From 2006 to 2007 he was General Manager of Jaya Shipbuilding and Engineering Ltd. From 2005 to 2006, he was General Manager (Newbuildings & Special Projects) of ASL Marine Limited. From 2003 to 2004, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Office in ST Engineering Ltd. From 1990 to 2003, he started as Project Manager and was eventually promoted to General Manager of Pan-United Corporation Group of Companies.
