KS Energy names Jumeidi Dirwan Alexander as CEO of KS Drilling
He has been in the drilling industry for the past 17 years with a track record of successes in rig operations management.
The Board of KS Energy announced the appointment of Jumeidi Dirwan Alexander as chief executive officer of KS Drilling, a principal subsidiary of the Company.
Mr Alexander, 41, will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company's long and short terms plans in accordance with its strategy. The role is also responsible for all day-to-day management decisions. The CEO acts as a direct liaison between the Board and management of the Company, according to a KS Energy report.
Before joining KS Drilling in December 2012, he was with Vantage Drilling where he started as project manager in March 2009 and subsequently promoted to director of operations in July 2010. From April 2008 to March 2009, Mr. Alexander was with Premium Drilling as operations manager.
In December 2012, Mr. Alexander was appointed COO of KS Drilling. He is responsible for overall global operations including asset profitability and safety.
He started his career as a project engineer with Transocean/Schlumberger Sedco in 1996.
