Sembcorp Industries appoints Graham Cockroft as CFO

He is currently the CFO of New Zealand energy firm Contact Energy.

Sembcorp Industries announced the appointment of Graham Cockroft as its new chief financial officer (CFO), who will join the company on 3 September 2018.

Cockroft is currently the CFO of New Zealand firm Contact Energy, which currently has businesses in hydro, geothermal and gas-fired power generation, electricity retail, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas. Prior to being appointed CFO, he served three years as the company’s chief operating officer, responsible for its wholesale and generation functions.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Commerce from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and a Masters in Finance from London Business School in the UK.
