AXA Singapore boosts COVID-19 travel insurance coverage
Clients will receive benefits such as hospitalisation and quarantine allowance.
AXA Singapore has enhanced its AXA SmartTraveller offering, which will now cover COVID-19 medical expenses incurred overseas starting 1 December.
Existing and new clients will receive benefits from situations arising from the pandemic, such as hospitalisation allowance, quarantine allowance, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, pre-departure trip cancellations and postponement, and curtailment or rearrangement losses.
Customers can choose from two plans, the Essential Plan and the Comprehensive Plan, which provide individuals the same range of benefits but with different coverage limits.
The enhancement comes after AXA partnered with Scoot in September to make COVID-19 coverage available at no additional charge to Scoot passengers who have purchased Scootsurance for flights departing Singapore.
