CapBridge offers investments into private equity from $5,000
‘Preferred Access’ will cater to those seeking to invest in unlisted private companies.
Financing platform CapBridge, in partnership with Australian investment platform Wholesale Investor, has launched a new financial product called Preferred Access which allows individual investors to access multiple private equity or venture capital investments for a minimum amount of $5,000.
The new products is designed for those who aim to invest in unlisted private companies for potential above-market returns. Preferred Access’ participants will be able to view all available investment deals on the CapBridge platform. When the target interest amount as set by the company raising capital is achieved, the investment in the company will be executed.
Private firms can also use the Preferred Access platform to raise capital.
"In recent years, we have seen demand from individual accredited investors for private investment opportunities. However, these private equity investments are typically exclusive and only available for investing at a large quantum. With Preferred Access, we want to bring such opportunities to the discerning individual accredited investor, at a ticket size that suit individual allocation preferences,” said Johnson Chen, founder and CEO of CapBridge.
The partnership with Wholesale Investor also provided CapBridge access to markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Australia.
