OCBC launches mobile biometric authentication with OneTouch

Using Apple’s Touch ID technology.

OCBC’s mobile banking customers can now view the full list of their balances – bank accounts, cards and investment – on their smartphones at the touch of a finger.

OCBC OneTouch leverages on Apple’s Touch ID technology to allow customers easy and quick access to their bank balances using fingerprint recognition, without the need for a log-in to Mobile Banking. This is the latest in a series of digital innovations by OCBC Bank, which continues to lead in the financial digital space.

This service is available for iOS devices that incorporate Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensors. Therefore, customers using mobile devices such as iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, with iOS 8 operating system can use OCBC OneTouch to access their banking information.
