Prudential launches AI-backed mobile healthcare app

It can be used to check symptoms and video consult with doctors.

Prudential Singapore has rolled out an AI-powered mobile app which grants clients 24/7 access to healthcare services, according to a news release.

Using Pulse by Prudential, users can check their symptoms, conduct a digital health assessment, and seek video consultations with professionals at a flat fee of $15 excluding medication and delivery cost.

Registered users who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 will be offered a $100 daily allowance for non-Prudential customers hospitalised between their date of app registration and 31 May.

On the other hand, Prudential clients can avail of the one-month extension of $200 daily allowance for up to three months of hospitalisation, from 1 to 31 July. This also applies to employees of corporate and SME customers covered by group insurance.
