Singapore FinTech Association launches RegTech sub-committee
It aims to promote and adopt technologies to overcome regulatory challenges.
The Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) has launched the SFA RegTech Sub-Committee which aims to promote the invention and adoption of technologies to overcome regulatory challenges in Singapore, an announcement revealed.
The RegTech Sub-Committee is chaired by Chionh Chye Kit, CEO & co-founder of anti-money laundering (AML) software provider Cynopsis Solutions and Traceto.io.
SFA also revealed that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Australia-based The RegTech Association. This sub-committee will also be working collaboratively with other similar sub-committees of fintech associations to promote the application of RegTech solutions, starting with FinTech Association of Hong Kong and FinTech Association of Japan.
