Starhill Global REIT launches $2b debt issuance program
Proceeds will be used to finance acquisitions.
Starhill Global REIT has established a $2b multicurrency debt issuance programme, the company announced.
In this program, some of the REIT’s wholly-owned subsidiaries may issue notes from time to time, whilst its trustee HSBC Institutional Trust Services may issue perpetual securities.
The issuer will on-lend the proceeds from the Programme to HSBC or any member of the REIT, which will be used for purposes including acquisition of properties, as well as the financing or refinancing of asset enhancement works, unit buybacks, borrowings and perpetual securities.
DBS Bank has been appointed as the arranger and dealer of the programme.
