Chart of the day: Digital tech has the most positive impact on financial, personal health
It has the least positive impact on stress, career progression, and work satisfaction.
This chart from the Digital for 100: Harnessing technology for longer lifespans report by Prudential shows the top eight aspects in which digital technologies had a positive impact on Singaporeans' lives.
The chart reveals that amongst the eight, financial health, social, and personal health are the top three aspects of life would most Singaporeans say that digital technologies have had the greatest positive on.
The report aims to prove that digital technology can enhance financial and personal health, with one in two Singaporeans confident to live up to 100 years old.

According to the report, the respondents’ self-assessed proficiency in using personal finance technologies is impressive, with the large majority—ranging between 63% and 85%—saying they are well able to use mobile banking apps and financial management websites and apps.
Proficiency is lower, however, when it comes to robo-advisors, share-trading apps and crypto platforms—niche financial tools that require more skill to use than online banking.
The survey asked different digital technology-based questions to 800 Singapore residents from June to July 2022 to explore the role that digital tools currently play and will play in how Singapore residents manage their lives in the face of an increased lifespan.
The respondents fall into four age cohorts: 25-34, 35-44, 45-54 and 55-65. The sample is split evenly between males and females and distributed among different income groups ranging from $0-25k to $200k and over.
