
Citi debuts virtual remote engagement feature for wealth management clients
It is currently available on Citibank Online.
Citi has unveiled a Virtual Remote Engagement (VRE) feature that enables its Singapore wealth management customers to hold remote discussions with their relationship managers on-the-go.
In what Citi claims as the first such move in Singapore which allows wealth clients to conduct portfolio reviews through screen sharing and video capabilities, VRE is designed to enable live audio, chat and video banking on Citibank Online. A service with Citi Mobile will soon follow.
The service is already live on both online and mobile channels in Hong Kong and will be progressively rolled out to 15 markets across APAC and EMEA for Citigold and Citigold Private Client customers.
“With VRE, we can converse with our customers on channels that they already prefer using without losing the critical human engagement component,” Gonzalo Luchetti, head of consumer banking for Asia Pacific at Citi said in a statement.
The launch of VRE comes on the heels of in-app audio and video banking platform Hello which is designed for affluent customers in India.
